about us
Formed in 1982, the Northwoods Hi-Riders maintain trails in the Solberg Lake area which is located in central Price County. We are affiliated with the Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Club and Price County Trail Association.

In 1987 the Northwoods Hi-Riders assumed responsibility of trail maintenance for approximately 25 miles of trails in and around Solberg Lake area. To date new trail projects (approximately 10 miles) in and near Solberg Lake have been established and maintained by the Hi-Riders. We have 20 private landowners throughout our trails and we appreciate their support of snowmobiling in Price County.

We are proud to be involved in our community by being a Phillips Area Chamber of Commerce member and through donations for the fireworks at Winter Fest. Over the years we have donated thousands of dollars to area groups and benefits such as the Phillips Public Library, Wounded Warriors, Shiners, Am Vets, school groups, youth groups, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. 5% of our funds are dedicated to charity and we also donate money to promote area events.

We sponsor many club events and fundraisers throughout the winter months such as a Radar Fun Run, Vintage Sled Display, a Brat Feed, Valentine's Day Dance, and a Poker Run. You can find more information about all events here.

As of 2017 our club membership is 102 strong! If you are interested in becoming a member of our club please visit our Club Membership page.
